Sight Words Ninja - Slicing Game to Learn to Read App Reviews

My 4 year old loves this app...my 3 year old does too. As they develop they will do better at recognizing the words, I like that there is an option to change the words based on age level.

Great app for multiple ages!

My grandkids have loved this app, they are preschoolers and are learning phonetics. The colors are bright and the movement patterns keep their attention. A positive fun way to practice sight words.

My daughter loves it! And the greatest part of it all is shes learning!!

My 5 year old twins love this app!!! I have only one complaint, ok two. The words do overlap causing little fingers to get a word wrong because they sliced more than one. My main issue is that you cant add your own words that I can see. They have orange on their list this month and it isnt on any of the lists.

I really like this app, but I can no longer access the parental area using the three finger tap. Anyone else have this problem?

I LOVE this game, my 5 year old loves this game. As far as I can tell COMPLETELY FREE. No gimmicks or ads. You can even customize! I dont have enough good things to say. Thank you developers for making this game.

This app is awesome. I got it for my first grader who doesnt like practicing his sight words. Its much more fun with this game and I love that I can see at the end which ones need more practice. The amount of ways to customize it is also awesome. So amazing I cant believe it was free. Thank you.

Although you slice the correct word, it doesnt obviously say "you picked the wrong word". to a kid learning to read site words, they may or may not make the connection when they pick the correct word.

I have two kids with special needs who are having difficulty in reading,but love computers and technology with this app they are learning without realizing it. This app is great addition to improve with sight words...please add more levels in the near future

This app is perfect. So simple and fun with all the benefits of learning. Genius idea to take the concept of fruit ninja and replace the fruit with customizable sight words for your little learners to slice and dice based on there learning stage. So refreshing to see a developer out there who cares about childrens education. Looking forward to more apps from you guys. And maybe one idea is adding your own words. And maybe more stages of difficulty in between. It can be hard for some kids when the words overlap and they slice the wrong words but the easy stage is just too "easy" and I feel they get too caught up in the act of slicing without sounding out the word or paying attention. Also another thing is maybe you can reinforce some kind of visual effects when they slice the right word and when they slice the wrong ones because when they slice two words at once they might be confused at where they are messing up. Just a few small gripes but overall fantastic app! Thanks a ton guys.

My boys enjoy playing this game, to review and learn words. I would love to see parents being able to customize lists to follow specific sight words given out from school.

My kids love this app. I wish we were able to change the sight words. That would be great.
