My mom made me get this s word game for my little brother and it takes three quarters of my iPad space!!!!!!!!!!!
Three finger tap does not work to access settings and customize word list, so this app is useless. Emailed app developer, no reply. Bummer.
Mo sound. Is there supposed to be sound?
Cant get into settings with the three finger tap in order to set level etc. (Nothing happens). Otherwise seems like a great app.
Great app for my kindergartner. Im enjoying it too. This should help my son read and learn sight words. Addicting and educational!
My 5-year-old loves this. It would be even better (from my perspective, not my daughters) if it were customizable to specific word lists so it could be used to learn weekly school sight words.
I love when you combine a game kids love with an educational twist. Thanks for allowing teachers to choose grade level words to make it challenging for all students. Go Grasshopper Apps!
The words seem to go over the top of other words so if you were guessing on the word then you may get it wrong the first time. I do like how it says the words more than once. I also like that you can see what words you missed in the tally at the end of the time period. It will help parents in that they do not have to use flash cards that could get lost.
This is a great app. I like the settings (ability to pick words by grade). Only suggestion. Maybe if the words can come a little higher and more centered. Sometimes you cant see the whole word because its too much to the left or too the right.
I work with kindergarten students and Ive used these apps for a while. Im so excited that there is now a sight word version. My students LOVE to play these games and I love to see them make great improvements throughout the year.
My 5-year old loves this app! It combines lots of skills--motor by having to slash the word, listening for for the word, and identifying the correct word. I think this is a super fun way to reinforce sight word recognition!!
My 4 year old is enjoying this game however I ask you consider the font you are using. The lowercase letter "J" resembles a long/tall "i". It should have the curved bottom please.
Bright colors, font size , numerous repetitions all add to a great app for a child with multiple challenges. Great at maintaining attention .
Love that its easy to use. Hope my students will learn the words with the fun way to practice it.
Great that you can choose what words are presented by turning off or on words from word lists. As a speech-language pathologist I can use this to work on articulation by choosing words that contain target sounds.
Great app! Love the slicing!
My kindergarteners and 4-year old daughter love this app. This is a lot like Eggy Words 250 which my kids love, but I actually like this app better since it is completely customizable. I do wish the words didnt pile up on top of each other it makes it easy to tap the wrong word.
The kids love this app. I already had the ABC Ninja app and Number Ninja, but it wasnt level appropriate for the older kids -- even though they still wanted to play it! Now they can play this app while learning and I love they way I can change the settings to the perfect level for each learner. It is wonderful for an ELL teacher! Thanks so much!
Fun way to practice sight words! Sometimes hard to see the whole word though.
